Today's Work

I put my arm around a skeleton of a man today
And his bones said, "I love you."

I put my face against his head and his hair mingled
with my beard and they said, "I love you."

I put my heart next to his heart and they beat as one
And his lips said, "I love you.'

Mine replied,

"I love you too."
